SUPPORT HOUSTON AT #SXSW - SATURDAY, MARCH 18

South By Southwest is coming to a close but TONIGHT is a great night to get out and support some of Houston's own. Check out these events, you are sure to enjoy them. Tons of talent involved. While it will be a task to choose between showcases, we are all here for options.

"Optimo Radio Hosts" Showcase

8:00pm
Clive Bar - 609 Davis St., Austin, TX 78701
OFFICIAL SHOWCASE - Badges/Wristbands Required
The line-up for this showcase is SUPER dope and includes tons of Houston talent. Make it there early and check out Gio Chamba, T2 The Ghetto Hippie, Kyle Hubbard, Undergravity, Guilla, Doeman, GT Garza and Doughbeezy. And although not from Houston, headliners Don Trip and Starlito are like Houston family and are absolutely worth going to see.
Doeman, an up and coming rapper from Houston is also a standout on the line-up. His live shows are ridiculous and everyone should experience one. So, get there.

Trill City Official Showcase

8:00PM
Valhalla - 710 Red River St., Austin, TX 78701
OFFICIAL SHOWCASE - Badges/Wristbands Required
Another official SXSW showcase featuring some amazing Houston talent (as well as some great artists from around Texas). Get there at 8:00pm to see DJ Jon Rambo spin - he is dope. Stay to see dope performances from FlygerWoods, Tim Woods, Fat Tony and WhyJae. You will not be disappointed!
Pay special attention to FlygerWoods and Tim Woods, they are definitely artists to keep an eye on out of Houston.

If you are looking to support Houston at SXSW but don't have a badge/wristband check out these dope events below!

Nate Coop, a Houston native and amazing producer, is a part of the Best of Texas Producer Showcase. Also catch legendary OG Ron C and The Chopstars as well as Houston's own DJ Shante at The 5th Annual #JUICESXSW Respect The DJ: Battle Of The Sexes Edition.

While we are not saying these are ALL the events where you can support Houston at SXSW, this is a place to start. There is something for everyone and nothing but space and opportunity to get out there and enjoy yourself.

When you leave the show/showcase, go check out your favorite performers music or work. Make it worth it.

Tell a friend. Spread the word.
